Merry Christmas everynyan. Unfortunately I am sick right now and don't feel very well. I'm going to call out of work tomorrow because of it. For Christmas I got a bunch of clothes I don't like from my relatives, and a creationist science book from my father. Wish I got a game or something but I guess it is my fault for not asking. I feel like gaming and anime are loser interests which is why I never tell people I like it, so I always get skiing clothes & stuff as gifts.
I did buy Persona 5 earlier this month but honestly I found a hard time getting into it because the gameplay feels repetitive, but maybe I'm just not far enough into it to enjoy it fully. I will try continuing sometime. I also bought Star Wars Battlefront II and Stellaris. Good games.
I hung out with friends for the first time in a really long while last week and it felt good. I felt human. We tried to go winter camping but turned back because we couldn't start a fire and began suffering. Hiked 10 miles with big packs, yeah we were all tired so we went to the mall the next day and I got some Nichijou manga. But we're going to hang out for a few days again in the spring and I'm looking forward to it.
I've been thinking again about how much gaming culture has changed in the past 10 years. I am not ashamed to admit I am not excited for the Nintendo Switch 2, though of course that's running on rumours and leaks and we don't know if it will actually be super special or not. I wish there would be a new PlayStation handheld, but sadly we've seen nothing in that sphere. I'm missing the way things used to feel.
Goodnight. I hope you feel well.
